The formula 2501 full spectrum tincture is the best cbd product I have ever used. From any company. It’s worth every penny. I can confidently say it has extended my dogs life and also improved his quality of life. 8 months ago, he was having 2-3 grand mal seizures a week, sometimes daily. Anti seizure meds from the vet weren’t working and came with negative side affects. After doing research I initially tried a popular brand of pet cbd, but the mg per ml ratio was way too low. In order to administer 30-50mg of cbd I was having to give him full droppers (20-40ml) and he simply would not take it. Even chicken or bacon flavor. Formula 2501 solved that problem. 8.3 mg/drop is perfect. 3-4 drops on a treat twice daily has drastically reduced the frequency of seizures. Went from 2-3 per week to 1 every two weeks, sometimes longer in between. It also has definitely reduced the severity of the seizures when they do occur. Before the cbd, they were full blown grand mal, loss of consciousness, paddling legs etc. Now when he has them they are shorter (15-30 seconds) and remains conscious. I also strongly believe that the cbd helps with the time it takes him to recover from a seizure. Used to be 24+hours of post ictal phase symptoms. Now when a seizure occurs, a short nap is all it takes and he’s back to his normal happy self. The only negative side affect I have noticed was diarrhea at higher doses. Dialed it back to 25mg per dose and he has no issues. I am beyond grateful I found this stuff and would recommend anyone with a pet suffering from seizures to try this before putting them down.
